Fahrenheit 451 essay
ray Bradbury had a difference in tone with both Beatty and clarisse in order to show their differences. they are both very different in a way. beatty is a strict more obiedient type of person while clarisse is more layed back and wonders about different things which makes her differnt from others in this society. the tone in both characters are different in order o see their differences in the way they both think
beatty is put in a situation in which the tone is serious to show the type of person he is. just as tells montag that he only has 24 hrs to read the book shows his strictness in the rules she follows. he is often put in situations which get heated up like in the end when he tells montage to burn his house and makes him look bad. and ignorant the overall tone for beatty is seriousness in which he follows the rules he has been given by his society.
clarisse has a tone of wonder by the way she has so many questions. she also helped shape up montage to apreciate books more by asking him questions. she has also told montage many thing that have changed his way of thinking like her telling him that its weird that he is talking to her since firemen dont talk to her making him wonder and thnk that he is different then other fire men.
beatty and clarisse are diferent in thought which sets different tones for both of them. beatty is doing what he was tought to do which is burning books and clarisse is questioning things which also affects montag by also changing the way he thinks. they are both the opposite people in the way the do things which is why the tone for both of them is different.
